COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Last updated: 22 September 2026
These rules apply to Academy94 profiles, timelines, groups, comments, direct messages, images, video, links and Industry Portal contact. They form part of the Terms and Conditions.
The public app and community are for adults aged 18 or over at launch. If you believe a child is using the community, contact Academy94 immediately. Separate education arranged with a parent or guardian does not automatically provide community access.
1. Be constructive and respect boundaries
- Do not harass, threaten, stalk, bully, shame or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop.
- Do not attack or exclude a person because of a protected characteristic.
- Do not pressure members to share private contact details, sexual material, money, passwords or identity documents.
- Industry and tutor access is for genuine Academy94 activity and professional opportunities, not scraping or unsolicited bulk promotion.
2. Content that is not allowed
Do not upload, send, link to or encourage illegal content; child sexual abuse material; grooming; terrorism; credible violence; suicide or self-harm encouragement; hate; human trafficking; fraud; malware; doxxing; intimate images without consent; sexual exploitation; counterfeit or controlled goods; copyright infringement; impersonation; spam; or instructions intended to facilitate serious harm. Artistic discussion is not a licence to target or endanger another person.
3. Rights and authenticity
Only share music, photography, video, artwork, names and personal information you have the right and permission to use. Do not falsely claim credentials, bookings, results or affiliation. Clearly identify a commercial opportunity and do not disguise advertising as personal contact.
4. Safety controls
Use Report for content or conduct that may break these rules. Reports are private and go to authorised Academy94 reviewers. Blocking stops the relevant connection and direct contact; muting hides a member or silences conversation alerts without notifying them. For immediate danger call 999. Academy94 is not an emergency service.
5. How Academy94 responds
We assess the content, context, severity, likelihood of harm, account history and applicable law. Proportionate action can include reducing visibility, removing content, issuing a warning, restricting a feature, suspending or closing an account, preserving evidence or reporting to a relevant authority. Urgent illegal or safety reports are prioritised. We do not promise to resolve private contractual disputes between members.
6. Reasons and review
Where appropriate, we tell the affected account what rule was applied and how to request review. Email team@academy94.co.uk with the account email, decision/date and why you believe it should change. A different authorised reviewer will consider it where practical. We may limit detail to protect a reporter, another person, security or an investigation.
7. Online Safety record
Academy94 maintains internal records of its illegal-content risk assessment, children’s access assessment, safety measures, reports, decisions and reviews. The controls are reviewed when the service or relevant guidance changes.
