COOKIE POLICY

This policy explains storage and access technologies used on academy94.co.uk and in connected Academy94 services. Read it with the Privacy Policy.

1. Your choice

Non-essential analytics and advertising technologies are off until you make a positive choice. The banner gives equally available Essential only, Analytics only and Allow all choices. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time. Withdrawing consent stops future optional collection and attempts to remove first-party measurement cookies; provider-side information already lawfully collected is governed by its retention controls.

2. Strictly necessary storage

These technologies operate security, login, baskets, checkout, load balancing and your privacy choice. They cannot all be disabled through our banner because the requested service may not work.

• ppwp_wp_session and equivalent security/session values: maintain a protected or authenticated session.
• WordPress/ProfilePress login cookies: keep a signed-in member authenticated and protect account actions.
• woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_*: maintain a basket and checkout.
• a94_analytics_consent_v1 and a94_marketing_consent_v1: local browser storage recording the choice, not cross-site tracking.

Names and lifetimes can change when a security, commerce or hosting provider updates its software. Session values normally end when the session/browser ends; login and basket values use the duration needed for the chosen feature.

3. Analytics

If you choose Analytics, Google Analytics may receive a random browser/device identifier, approximate region, page/event, referrer, device/browser and transaction event information. Academy94 configures IP anonymisation where supported, disables Google Signals and advertising personalisation for analytics-only consent, and does not intentionally send names, emails, message text or creative uploads. Typical first-party names include _ga, _gid and related measurement values.

4. Marketing measurement

If you choose Allow all, Google Ads and Meta Pixel may measure page views, leads, checkout and purchases to assess Academy94 advertising. Values may include a browser identifier, page/event, product/order reference, total and currency. Full payment-card details, private messages and learning content are not sent for ad measurement. Typical names include _gcl_*, _fbp and _fbc. Each provider applies its own retention and privacy terms.

5. Embedded and external services

YouTube, SoundCloud, Zoom, payment, maps and social links may take you to a third-party service or load a requested embed. That provider may use its own storage once you interact with it. We aim to use privacy-enhanced or click-to-load embeds where practical, but its notice governs activity on the third-party service.

6. Apps

Mobile apps may use secure device storage, notification tokens and local preferences rather than browser cookies. The Privacy Policy explains these. Apple and Google provide operating-system controls for permissions, advertising and notifications.
